It has come to our attention that in some cases, fraudsters are exploiting the current national situation by attempting to impersonate businesses and claim that bank details for payments have changed.  Please rest assured that our bank account details have not changed this year, and if you receive any notification similar to this, please contact us.  Our bank details will be as per our letters and invoices sent to you.

While things have changed quite dramatically in our personal and day-to-day lives, at Title Research, we want to reassure you that we are still operating our business as usual.

Given the recent announcements from our government, our office is now closed. Despite this, all employees are working from home and are all committed and capable of progressing any existing cases as well as onboarding new ones without any interruption.

We would like to remind you that our ability to remain unaffected by the COVID-19 pandemic is highly dependent on third party providers continuing to operate as normal. As previously stated, we will inform you of any changes to the operations of our third-party partners or modified government policies that could have any impact of our services. However, there are currently no changes we are aware of.

If you have any questions, please continue to contact us at +44 (0) 345 87 27 600  from Monday to Friday between 8:00am - 5:30pm or via email at info@titleresearch.com

Fortunately, our business remains unaffected by the COVID-19 pandemic but we continue to closely monitor the potential impact on our third party providers and changes to government policies that could affect our services. We will notify you as soon as we are aware of any changes.

Additionally, we would like to take this opportunity to remind you that we are still here to serve your firm with your complex estate administration cases and we'd like reinforce the ways you could interact with us when required:

19 March 2020

In light of the developments in relation to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), I'm writing to provide you with an update on how Title Research is reacting to these exceptional circumstances.

We want to reassure you that our Business Continuity Plan (BCP), which allows the business to continue as usual, has been partially implemented. Our BCP enables people to work from home full time. We have made attending the office voluntary to all staff with the option to work from home if they prefer. Some members of staff have chosen to work from home but many still remain in the office. We are pleased to report that we currently have no confirmed cases of the virus among our staff. At present, we can confidently say that our services remain unaffected.

Our ability to maintain service is, in many circumstances, impacted by relationships with third party providers and as such we will naturally be dependent on these plus how the virus progresses over the coming weeks and any changes in government policy relating to this.

In the case that there is a confirmed case of the virus in our building, either for our own employees or employees of other tenants, we will be required to evacuate the building for two weeks. If this happens then the vast majority of staff will work from home and we will advise on what you should do if you need to send any documents to us. We plan to keep our website up-to-date with any developments in the eventuality that the office closes.

Our team are focused on continuing to work with your firm and will be using technology to keep in touch, where in-person meetings are unable to proceed.

I know that this is a worrying time for us all and I can promise you that everyone at Title Research is focused on continuing to provide support when you face complications during the estate administration process.

Kind regards,

Anthony Allsopp,

Head of Business
